Taking Care of Those Who Take of Us

SAVA’s  SART PEERS Program mission is to reduce the incidences of sexual violence among today's youth through peer education and community support.

Through community presentations, young people have the opportunity to discuss issues including the roots of violence and oppression, sexism, and gender stereotypes.

They also learn how to intervene when they see something happening that isn’t right, and how to support a friend who reveals they have been sexually assaulted.

Veteran Support Groups

The mission of The Children's Hospital is "to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy."

They were founded in 1908 and have been doing outstanding work for kids of all ages and stages ever since. The shape the care for pediatrics and continuous work to improve and learn new forms of treatment. The money donated helps support research and daily functions for this great organization.

Each year we select several Veteran Support Groups that help Veterans recover from their experiences, help them settle back home, or organizations that help provide opportunities to them that otherwise wouldn't be possible. Suggested organizations:

The Greeley Evans Youth League provides baseball and softball for all youth ages 6-14.

GEYL believes strongly that youth who play baseball and softball are getting lessons not just in the game, but in leadership, decency, and sportsmanship that help to equip them for the years ahead.

GEYL is committed to making sure that all youth get the opportunity to play and learn these valuable lessons, even if they cannot afford to pay.  GEYL offers free and reduced fee programs for qualifying families to play these great games.
